Sensei James Gibson

    

    I am truly saddened to hear of Sensei Gibson's passing in your newsletter!  I have fond memories of Jim as did anyone who came into contact with him.  I performed a demo with him some 35 years ago.  He looked at me and said "can you do mis-directions throws and land on your neck without breaking it?"  I told him, no problem.  Well, I spent the afternoon landing on my ass, my neck, my head and every other part of my body!  When he told stories, you knew exactly where they were going  to end up, on the CANAL.  I shall raise a toast to Jim Gibson and wish him GODS SPEED and Semper Fi!  Heaven has another Marine to stand guard.
