USMC RAIDER ANNUAL CONVENTION AUGUST, 2005

The two photo's above are of Corporal Les Gfeller, USMC RAIDERS, ret. He is show knelling on the right in the first photo and in Dress Blues, Raider patch on right shoulder,  in the other.

The first photo autographed by Corporal Les Gfeller to Hanshi and Mrs. McGrath telling how he had gotten the above booklet.

Japanese kanji relating that this booklet that Les got out of a crashed Jap bomber, was full of Recognition pages of American War planes, bombers and fighters. He was alone, reconnoitering on his own and said he spotted the folder, rolled up between the bulkhead and a stanchion. He felt spooky knowing that his squad had moved on and he was in japanese territory alone, so he grabbed the pamphlet and took off. It proves that there were Jap spies in Hawii and the United States. The above photo's represent some of the hundreds that were in the pamphlet so that Jap pilots knew what type of plane they had shot down for their reports.

The above photo's from left to right: Hanshi McGrath and a Raider he met standing in front of a Marine Corps fighter, Hanshi and Laurie Barton, the sculptor of "The Patrol" standing in front of a clay model minus an arm. It is incredibly detailed from helmet to the boots, A special parade for the Raider at the Iwo Jima Statue, with the Marine Dress Band, known as "The President's Own", since they have serenaded the President on New Years Eve at the White House, since it was built, the final one is of one of the Instructors from the Martial Arts Program in Quantico, who recognized me and asked about my "Four second Kill Technique".
