The Shadow of an Eagle

The whisper of an eagle, was heard today

  But no eagle was near, he was far away

  The touch of a feather seemed at hand today

  But at its’ first feeling, it drifted away

  The presence of an eagle seemed to fill the air

  But only for a moment, than it just wasn’t here

  Inspiration is an Eagle

  The like of none, can compare

While we Trace his earth bound shadow

This highest of all eagles,

 Chases stars from the air

  In sincere gratitude and respect

A final silent bow from the martial arts world 

To the never silenced memory of the most

Inspirational Eagle, Grandmaster Don Nagle
