“A Hero No More”
Prior to John McCain’s bid for the Presidency, I had picked up a copy of his autobiography. At that time, I was a life long Republican, until so-called Moderates like McCain and mean-souled Liberals like Kennedy and Schumer, turned me into a Conservative, looking to battle these Socialists.
Rather than finding myself admiring this Vietnam War hero, I was astonished to realize his self-sustaining narcissism and self-absorption. As a child he acted out, due to his father’s absence, due to his Naval obligations, following his father’s career, becoming a Navy Admiral. John McCain’s Grandfather stepped in to fill the gap and as Grandparents often do, he may have gone overboard to shield McCain from the reality of life and the responsibility for his actions. This was quite evident, once he arrived at the Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, where discipline and responsible action are mainstays of this Academy’s life. His four years in Annapolis, according to McCain, was marked by disobedience of the rules and regulations of the school, putting together a band of fellow clowns, who discovered how to sneak out of the Academy and spend their evenings in drinking in a bar outside of the Naval Base. While he was often caught at this unbridled behavior, the prominent position of his father and Grandfather, bought him off expulsion, which would have occurred to anyone else. When he finally graduated as an Ensign, he was taken into flight school, a prime plum, especially for someone with his Annapolis behavioral problems, but he got his wings, at a time that America needed pilots to fight the Vietnam War and he was placed upon an aircraft carrier. Eventually, on a mission, he would be hit by a Russian Sam Missile and was forced to eject from his plane, over enemy territory. He sustained injuries during the ejection and landing, which were exacerbated by the pummeling he took from the North Vietnamese farmers who were the first to reach him. This was the beginning of his famed heroism and decorations, by a grateful nation. But there would be one more glitch before that path was opened. Under questioning, by the Prison Camps interrogators, he agreed to sign papers; which blamed America for their aggressiveness, in bombing North Vietnam. The truth of the matter was, that the North Vietnamese attacked South Vietnam, in order to complete the illegal Communist take-over, of the entire country, by sending para-military units (Viet Cong), as well as Northern Vietnam Regulars, over the border and the South would have been overwhelmed, if America and its allies had not stepped up to bring a halt to their aggression. Shortly after McCain signed what the North Vietnamese wanted, some of the other prisoners, who had been in the camp for a long period of time, impressed upon McCain, that they must maintain their unity of purpose and fight in every way possible, to sustain their military behavior under the “ Armed Forces Code of Conduct,” which spelled out the behavior of American Prisoners of War. From that point on, McCain’s behavior toward the interrogators was heroic, in the face of torture and the fact that he was never given medical attention to his injuries. He also refused to be released prior to his turn, in the line of those imprisoned ahead of the future Senator.
Eventually, he would become a Congressman, as a Senator representing the State of Arizona, under the banner of the Republican Party. With his background as a Navy pilot, decorated for valor and a POW tortured for years at the Hanoi Hilton, it would be assumed that he would tend toward Conservatism. Suddenly, after several quiet years, toiling assiduously for his constituents, he started to prepare for a bid for the Presidency. Many in the United States, remembering only his service to his country, roared forward to push his campaign forward, not taking into account that he had some extremely Liberal ideas of governmental supervision and began, on some votes, to vote with the Ted Kennedy’s of the world. He came close to the Presidency, but near the end, his old childish self-serving petulance, as the various States rejected his campaign and he began to comment on George W. Bush in a less than Presidential manner. Once Bush was finally, declared President, McCain’s obstinacy blossomed, as he would defy the President on many more instances, siding with Liberal Senators, in putting bills before Congress, such as the McCain-Feingold Bill to limit the amount and type of campaign money candidates could accept and included a limit upon when individuals could bring forth ads or adding money to a candidates bid. The worst possible result of this would be embodied in George Soros and such organizations who set up to be immune from the regulations, such as Move On.Org. These venues were far-leftist and incredibly shrill and put out defamatory ads and their verbal conduct was worse, as those such as Soros, who was not born in America and therefore could not run for the Presidency, decided to buy the Presidency and the Congress, by contributing tens of millions of dollars to Move On. Org., while his son threw millions at local candidates around the country to change the venue of the Congress. Amid this McCain came out to aid President Bush on his campaign trail, while siding with Kennedy, the Clintons and Kerry by innuendo and sly moves during other speeches.
During the President’s offer of a Spanish gentleman who was an extraordinary Appellate Court judge, for a Federal Judgeship position, Judge Escobar became the first victim of the hijacked Democratic Party, which is now owned by the Socialist Liberal far left wing of the Party, refused to give him an up or down vote before the Senate, but instead, they ripped him apart with a vicious attack of innuendo and false claims, with Ted Kennedy (an un-convicted murderer) acting as the Senates moral center, backed by the spotlight seeking Sen. Byrd (a former leader of the Klux-Klux-Klan, who loves to filibuster and last amazed America by filibustering the Equal Rights Amendment) and Chuck Schumer, who refused an up or down vote on any Christian candidate, based on his bigoted belief that they would not be able to enforce the present laws on abortion, on an ethical or moral basis. He is not only anti-Christian, but is only Jewish by the luck of the birth draw, since his religion is the worship of political objectives, alone. He has no moral or ethical fiber in his mind or body. He is intellectually and politically bigoted and in defiance of the tenets of the Talmud. He is a hollow man and an empty suit, who will never listen to his conscience; for fear that he might have to make an ethical decision. Hillary Clinton, holding the façade of a Moderate (which could be compared to anyone who can’t make a real decision) in front of her, as if it were a shield against her entire past conduct, which stamps her as a borderline Communist. Her nefarious deeds and balancing act on the tightrope of legality are legion. This “Moderate,” will follow the path of Ted Kennedy, a dinosaur of an era past, when FDR and Truman had more Socialists and Communists in their administrations than you could count. He is an elitist beyond the Pale, who neither understands the common man, but is institutionally unaware of the rights and independence of our citizenship, since he and his entire family were indoctrinated in the policy of strength through monetary value. This is the cabal that John McCain, former hero, has bent his knee to worship at the feet of their altar, giving up his soul and character, in order to “get even” with President Bush and the American people for turning their back on him.
In the stalemate and log jam that Ted Kennedy chose as the Liberal Party’s strategy, as spelled out in a series of memos that were unearthed by a sharp witted Republican, showed that Kennedy callously ordered the Lock Step Dems/Liberals, to ignore any and every candidate for a judgeship in order to stymie President Bush’s future candidates for the Supreme Court and in a memorandum he sent out, he actually spelled out the Liberal mantra that any Spanish or African American who was put up as a candidate should be torn apart and defaced by lying about the candidates background, because Kennedy felt that this “type of person” could eventually wind up on the Supreme Court. When the Republicans stated that they would overthrow this illegitimate flaunting of “Advise and Consent” which was historically adhered to for nearly two-hundred and thirty years, because the Constitution states that the President will go to the Senate to “advise them and take their consent” and then proclaim his candidate as a Federal Judge. This was now threatened, leaving the only choice for the Republicans was to initiate the Constitutional Option of breaking the filibuster, where the vote of up or down would be based on a simple majority of the Senate, or 51 votes, not the 61 votes that the Liberals called for in their filibuster. They then mentioned the Constitutional Option, but referred to it as “The Nuclear Option.” A childish ploy to wrest power from the Republicans who had won the Presidency, The House of Representatives
and the Senate, by the overwhelming majority of Americans. When the majority Leader of the Senate, Bill Frist, stated that he would trigger the Constitutional Option; the Liberals said that they would shut down all Senate work, bringing the Government to a screeching halt. This was a threat that even the Liberals knew was an empty threat, since they would be skinned alive, in the coming elections. Remember that the Liberals are doing all of this to change the historical manner in which the Senate did its business, during a war, with our troops fighting for universal freedom and democracy, which would bring everlasting peace to earth. But the Leader of America’s Senate was thwarted in his attempt to bring back Constitutional government, by John McCain, now eyeing another Presidential run, had thrown his chips in with Ted Kennedy and called for a meeting between seven cowardly Republicans and seven traitorous Liberals, who concocted a plan to allow the Liberals to vote on three of the President’s candidates and no others need apply. This plan was announced by John McCain, with Ted Kennedy lurking in the background. It was like a Shakespearean play of treachery and deceit. McCain believes this will assure him the Presidency, but the flaw in his plan was immediately visible, when Nancy Pelosi and others stated that, according to the plan, they could only filibuster again in case of an “Extreme Situation,” and that could be construed as, the moment that President Bush exercises his right to assign new members to the Supreme Court, in which case Bill Frist will utilize the Constitutional Option and force a simple majority vote. It is the right of any sitting President to put his personal stamp on the Judicial Branch of our government. So, John McCain is really a traitor to his own Party and his President. As far as I am concerned, he is no Icon to look up to and I would not vote for him for “Dog Catcher,” as the saying goes.
