As I ride on the roads in New York, it isn’t the traffic that upsets me; it is the site of a car with the rear window proudly bearing an Ecuadorian flag or Peruvian, Guatemalan or Puerto Rican, but no American flag. What that tells me is that The United States if still the God Standard of all the nations on earth and immigrants aren’t aspiring or clamoring to get into Russia, Cuba, France or any other country in the world. Immigrants want to come to America. They flee Mexico like Genghis Khan’s Golden Horde, by the thousands, day in and day out. We have twelve million Mexican illegal immigrants in our nation hiding here, looking for a place to work. But it is not just Mexicans; it is from all over the world, that they flood our nation. The politicians endlessly discuss the solution for this. Democrats and some moderate Republicans see amnesty and then work programs moving toward citizenship. Meanwhile there are immigrants get Green Cards, live here, pay taxes and file for citizenship, all within the war, while the politicians laugh in the face of those legal immigrants, who wait and hope to become legal citizens, for years, and are stunned that they may never get to be Americans, while illegals who flaunt our laws, 30% of whom will wind up in prison because they break more than just our immigration laws.
Our politicians seem to have forgotten 9/11 and why we are in Afghanistan and Iraq. We lost 3,000 friends and family on that date, innocent people who never did anything to deter the life of a single radical Muslim terrorist. Why do they hate us? What have we done to them that brought on this horrible catastrophe? Nothing! They see us as an enemy because in the Middle East they vaguely remember what they feel was the Golden Age for the Muslims, when people like Saladin ruled. They aspired to be doctors, mathematicians, astronomers, philosophers, and writers. They believe that there was a clear-cut supremacy and blame the Crusades for their downfall. However, Pope Urban only called for, the Crusades, because the armies of Saladin and others marched into lands that belonged to European Christians for centuries going back to the death of Christ and the spread of Christianity. Now they were attacked by Muslims, who worship, not a God of love, warmth and a belief in peace, but instead follow a religion carved out of a man’s mind who had been shunned in the city of his birth and which was established by the sword and instead of religious tolerance their bible, the Koran, tells them that all people on earth are to become Muslim or die. These are the precepts of their religion and America is their primary target. It is not our fault. Capitalism, free choice and free markets have made America great and powerful. The Arabs despise us as any jealous child would, because we control our lives and they live virtually, in slavery under Imams who frown on anything that might bring joy to their pitiful lives. Religion is meant to honor a God who placed us on this planet to thrive, grow intellectually and be at peace with their fellow man. The radical Islamists have stolen the religion and turned it into a reason for death and murder, atrocities and revenge.
Americans have tried to put this behind them, to look toward the future and move on, but that has been made impossible by Terrorism. Their cells are within our nation waiting to harm us and our children whom they would kill without thought. Yesterday Rudy Giuliani, our former Mayor, now known as “America’s Mayor” for his stalwart bravery and consistent calm during our crisis, was on the stand in court against Zacarias Moussaoui, a terrorist of evil and twisted mind who smiled as Giuliani spoke of his memory of the Twin Towers falling and people holding hands and jumping from their windows to their death away from the flames. For Moussaoui it was a pleasant memory of triumph.
This is our enemy, whom President George W. Bush decided to face and fight on the enemies ground. He tore the heart out of the Taliban in Afghanistan and sent the Iraqi army reeling out of Baghdad fleeing from our troops, but in the face of liberty and a budding Democracy insurgents have flooded into Iraq from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Syria, for they cannot allow a democracy to drive the despots out of the Middle East. If Iraq thrives, as they will, under Democracy, the Imams and tyrants will be pushed aside and peace will come to the world.
Illegal immigration lessens our ability to keep our borders safe and secure, just as it will weaken our Homeland Security. Now illegal immigrants march brazenly in our streets by the hundreds of thousands, arrogantly demanding their rights and telling us they must be allowed to vote. They are felons and their flood masks the terrorist’s movements over our borders, to build their cells with money from Iran and Saudi Arabia. These are the Cells from which they conspire to kill us by the thousands simply because we forgot that we are fighting for our future. Wake up Americans and smell the gunpowder. Your lives are on the line, take back your country and understand that you are under a threat of death, if we don’t hold in our mind the picture of the Twin Towers falling. If we allow the country to be handed to the appeasement of the Liberal Leftists like Kennedy, Kerry and Clintons we will lose not just Iraq, but our own nation. Look to what the seeds of Islam have sown in Europe. Anarchy, fire, riots and murder is the crop being reaped by the Europeans.
