Our troops are “in harm’s way” in Afghanistan and Iraq. The choice to invade Iraq was made presumably because Saddam Hussein, a tyrant, who murdered innocent citizens and raped women throughout their nation and attacked adjacent free nations. After the loss of the Twin Towers and the lives of 3,000 innocent people who were simply going to work on 9/11, when Muslims flew two stolen Commercial airliners into the Towers. The jet fuel started a horrendous fire, causing the framework of the buildings to melt and the towers collapsed. The workers were murdered along with the First Responders, hundreds of Firemen and NY Policemen. Those men, women and children in the Towers were totally unaware that sadistic Muslims had been planning wholesale murder of Americans for several years. Most of the Muslims flying these airborne bombs were from Saudi Arabia, supposedly an American ally.
America has, from the inception of our Constitution, stepped forward to aid nations that have been attacked for the purpose of subjugating neighboring countries, such as Hussein’s attack on Kuwait. The United States stepped forward to drive the attack back from Kuwait. It was a blindingly quick victory for freedom. Historical events saw our troops fighting against the enemies of Peace in World War I and World War II, as well as Korea and Vietnam. The United States fought for freedom from Tripoli, Central America, Europe and the South Seas against the Japanese.
Now we have a new enemy and possibly the worst in the nations heritage. The Muslims killed 3,000 people on 9/11 and in 1993 they made their first attack on the Twin Towers, detonating a truck bomb that damaged the Towers garage killing and injuring many innocent people. I had my car in that garage and was in the adjacent restaurant, with two of my friends discussing business, the night before the cowardly attack.
For centuries the Middle East has been embroiled in wars with other Middle East nations, with most against a background of religious sects, such as the Shias and the Sunni Arabs. Jihad is a prominent icon of their religious teachings of Mohammed, their prophet. Mohammed was born in Mecca. His father had passed on before his birth and it is believed that his mother seemed to have been less than sane. Mohammed wound up leading camel caravans, until he met an older wealthy woman who owned who owned a caravan business, which favored Mohammed’s chance to become someone of prestige. For years Mohammed had a habit of leaving the city and spending his nights in various caves that circled the city of Mecca and it was during these solitary visits that Mohammed stated that God spoke to him to create a new religion, Islam. He quickly convinced his close family circle to join him, as he began to write the Koran and its edicts, such as no use of liquor, marrying only one wife. Mohammed himself was not held responsible for these same edicts, since he drank liquor and married multiple wives and concubines, including a twelve-year-old child. Unfortunately, since only his immediate family was his only aspirants, he stumbled on a tribe of Bedouins, who having no core beliefs, they accepted Mohammed’s religion, but they demanded several items. The Bedouins were warriors and wanted to be allowed to attack other tribes for booty and stealing their women, whom they forced Mohammed to allow them to rape and then kill. He placed that in his new Koran. Not a highlight for holiness.
Since he was born and brought up by himself in Mecca, he postulated his new religion to the people of that city, but it was a complete disaster, since the population of Mecca knew him as a camel driver and he was more or less laughed out of Mecca and so he moved to Medina. He then had his Bedouins attack Mecca to kill every man, woman and child in that city. Jesus allowed himself to be crucified for our sins and thus he died for mankind. Mohammed in his shame over Mecca turning their back to him had his warriors kill the population of the entire city.
It is now the Twenty-First Century and the Muslims still have the Middle East embroiled in turmoil throughout the entire world. Their ethic, if it can be seen as an ethic, is that all the people of earth must become Muslims. The option is death. This is not lightly to be taken, since we are now fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and watchful of an obscenely pugnacious Iran, which is in the midst of developing a nuclear bomb, with the first target probably Israel, whom the Muslims despise, while they are one of our nation’s closest allies. All of this takes place while Muslims are still irked by the first Crusade. This is how far they go to hold a grudge. That being understood, these are the people are to blame for the 3,000 innocents murdered on 9/11.
The crucial fact to understand is that we will eventually have to go to war on a large scale for decades and we must win this war. Unfortunately, the Democrats have stopped the funding for our troops. I have never in my life, through the World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, Kuwait or anywhere else seen Congress hold off supporting our troops. Nancy Pelosi, the mouth piece for the Democrats and the types like Kerry and Kennedy will be responsible for the deaths of any of our troops who don’t have all of the armament and backing of our nations Democratic majority in Congress. They call this George Bush’s war and will not help our Commander-In-Chief. President Truman pulled Gen. MacArthur out of his position as the commander of all troops in Korea and was roundly criticized, despite the fact that MacArthur would not listen to Truman.
The Democrats could care less, in fact, they want to cowardly pull out of Iraq, bolstering the Muslims feelings that America is too weak for battle. The Democrats should be investigated for their treasonous lack of patriotism and lack of concern for our troops. Saying that they are behind the troops, but not the war. That is a fantasy that the Democrats are hiding behind a lie and it is a lie that will get our troops injured and killed. When America goes to war, we are in it to win, every time, despite whomever we are fighting. If we don’t fight in Iraq and stop Iran’s nuclear attempts we will be changing the respect for The United States to disrespect and that will be tied to the tails of the Democrats. They are casually allowing us to be debilitating our war effort, while the Muslims believe that they are at Jihad, “A holy war.” These miscreants think that cutting the heads off tied up prisoners is moral and a show of their courage. That is what we face, as the Democrats turn their backs on our troops.
