Hi, Sensei. Congratulation Hanshi. My youngest son at the Pentagon who is also a
Isshin-Ryu practioner informed me of your site. I was never able to thank you for all that you've done for me. I lost track of your whereabouts. In all probabilities you do not remember me. Joe Burgess and I were former students of yours and Mel Sutphin. However, I always considered you to be my primary instructor. I fondly recall the many tournaments that I entered knowing very little, yet gaining additional knowledge and insight after every tournament. I recall that you instilled in us that Karate was an ongoing experience. Therefore, every weekend my garage became a workout site for
Joe and I. On a few occasions my neighbors called the cops in the mistaken belief
that someone was in danger. I was recently discharged from the hospital. My doctors were amazed by my speedy recovery. The above I believe is due to my Martial-Arts training. Ed McGrath thank you for the fond memories/opportunities as well as your
unwavering support and patience you had with me.
