MAIT 03-06 is currently on deck with 32 hard charging Devil Dogs for the last 7-week Black Belt IT course for 2006.  MAIT 04-06 will be a 5-week course for black belt instructors.

As a reminder, there are three disciplines to MCMAP; Physical, Mental and Character.  It’s imperative that all IT’s and I’s instruct the program/POI in the manner it was developed.  All three disciplines MUST be trained at every session.  Don’t cut corners.  Set the standard for others to follow.

If you desire to augment any of the upcoming MACE courses, please contact MgySgt Franklin.

The MACE is planning a CCRB from 11-15 December 2006.  More to follow.

FYI- Due to the work of recent updates within Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS 3270) the Martial Arts Qualification Codes (i.e. MMA-MMW) were accidentally changed.  We are currently in the process of fixing this problem. A proposal will be sent up the chain this week to fix the problem.  Use the old system until this has been resolved.

Finally, I will be retiring at 1000 on 30 June 2006 at the flag pole of The Basic School after 30 years of faithful service.  It’s been a great ride and I have no regrets.  I’d do it again if I could.  The first chapter of my life will be closed and the next opened.  Opened as the Director of MCMAP at the MACE as a “former active duty Marine.”  If you’re in the area, and desire to attend the retirement, I’d be honored to have you attend.  I would enjoy personally thanking you for helping to shape my career and MCMAP.  Until then,
